LEGO ROBOTICS (BEGINNING LEVEL) June 25-28 10am to 3pm
OPEN TO STUDENTS IN (OR GOING INTO) GRADES 4-8, 28 student maximum
Make sure you bring your brain, creative spirit, a motivation to succeed and be prepared to have a blast! Students will spend their mornings learning about the various components used on the LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Kit and then put that learning into action as they try to beat activity courses in the afternoon using the mini-robots. This 4-day camp will include lessons on how to design, build and program robotic sensors and motors to achieve an assortment of fun "challenges." Formulated for students—both boys and girls—that have little or no experience using robots, this compelling course will spark imaginations and promises to be a fun and memorable time! Students will need to bring bag lunch each day.

CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY July 16-19 10am to 3pm
OPEN TO STUDENTS IN (OR GOING INTO) GRADES 4-8, 28 student maximum
4 days, 4 different subjects! Utilizing both computers and iPads, students get to experience an assortment of creative outlets in art, music, photography and robotics. Day 1 enters the art realm where students get to practice drawing and painting on a digital canvas. Day 2 explores digital music creation with instruments like virtual drums, guitars, keyboards and even their own voices. Day 3 delves into digital photography and the magic that happens after the shutter has been snapped. Day 4 examines the world of robotics and teaches some basic programming of the LEGO Mindstorm robots (**different from the other Robotics Camps). This camp is designed to expose students to some of wondrous ways technology can be used for creative endeavors and give them to time to play with a digital palette of tools. Students will need to bring a digital camera with a memory card on Day 3. Students will need to bring bag lunch each day.
Basketball Lil Shot Camp @ St. Mary
Lil Shot Camp is from 12:30 to 3:00: June 18-22, Grades K-2;
Big Shot Basketball Academy enters its 19th summer providing basketball fundamentals, competition, and enjoyment for boys and girls in the greater Cleveland area and is conducting this program at St. Mary. This camp will give the young player a chance to build a sound, fundamental base for the game of basketball.

Volleyball Mini-Camp (Grades 4-8)
Camp is from 9 am – 12:00 pm July 5-6, Grades 4-8
Girls will receive instruction and drills in setting, hitting, blocking, individual defense, serving, forearm passing and team play. Morgan Hunt, Avon Assistant Coach will coordinate the camp.
