Family Ministry

T.G.I.F

James 2:14-17 states, “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds?......faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

T.G.I.F. (Together Growing in Faith) is a family- based ministry group started by mothers of our own parish who want to further explore the Catholic faith, enhance our individual relationships with God, and empower us to seek the path for which God is calling us.  Our vision is to make this “journey” as a family.

The main objective/goal of T.G.I.F. is to provide families with the tools to achieve this.  We hope to engage families once a month with a scheduled Youth Mass followed by a social gathering, community service project, speaker, and/or a volunteer opportunity to help the less fortunate.

Upcoming Events

Below is a list of some of our monthly scheduled events.  Please consider joining us on this journey.  There are no better role models for our children than his/her parents.  What a wonderful opportunity for the entire family to be God’s helping hands.

*September- Youth Mass- Chili cook off/Bon-fire- Fruits of the Holy Spirit discussion
*October- Youth Mass- Holy-ween Social- How Halloween really got started
*November- Youth Mass- provide a meal for Tent City (homeless shelter)
*December- Youth Mass- Adopt a family/families for Christmas (shop, wrap, bake)
*January- Youth Mass- make fleece blankets for local shelters, nursing homes, etc.
