Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, St. Mary School will be foregoing the Diocesan lunch program in favor of providing hot lunch in-house.
Tom's Country Place (Avon, Ohio) will be providing a wide variety of hot lunch selections Tuesday through Thursday each week. The daily menu will consist of an entree, side, fruit or vegetable, and milk, all for $3.50 per meal. Main courses planned include items ranging from sliced ham or pork cutlets to traditional favorites like macaroni and cheese or sloppy joe.
Mondays will be sub sandwich day, with Jimmy John's and Jersey Mike's alternating weeks to provide a sandwich, chips, and milk. Students will have three to four options to select from each shop, as well as a small or large sub, at prices ranging from $4.00 to $7.00. Pizza will be offered each Friday for $4, including chips, fruit, and milk. Students will have the option to add a second slice of pizza for only $1 more.
