CYO Basketball - Boys/Girls Grades 3-8 and High School
CYO Cheerleading - Grades 4-8Registration for Winter 2017-18 CYO sports at St. Mary Avon is underway! Go to www.stmaryavon.org/athletics to sign up by clicking on the athletics dropdown and the sport that you would like to register for.
St. Mary Avon CYO sports are open to students enrolled at St. Mary Day School, students of St. Mary PSR program and parishioners of St. Mary Parish. Students of surrounding parishes can be eligible with approval of their parish if their respective parish does not offer the sport.
CYO Basketball – Registration is open for boys and girls in grades 3-8 as well as high school. Registration fee is $110 through 10/5/17. After the deadline of 10/5, the fee is $120 (grade school only, HS remains the same) and subject to availability. Team formations and coaching assignments take place during the month of October. Practices begin the first week of November and the season concludes in mid/late February. Please note that CYO rules prohibit players from being on a CYO team and another basketball team at the same time. CYO Cheerleading – Registration is open for girls in grades 4-8. Girls will cheer at various St. Mary CYO basketball games throughout the season. Coaches will carry as many participants as deemed manageable according to available resources and volunteer help. Deadline to register is 10/5. Come and join the fun!
