Mr. Arroyo is a graduate of Lorain Catholic HS and the University of Akron, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography, as well as completed Graduate course work in Education through Ashland University.
Prior to coming to the Catholic Diocese in 2002, he was employed for 15 years as Regional Site Planner & Architectural Coordinator for McDonald’s Corporation involved in restaurant development. Upon the closing of his office in 2001, he embarked onto his second career with the Diocese primarily as Computer Teacher but has taught PE and most recently served as Computer Teacher / Media Specialist / Tech Coordinator at St. Jude for the past five years. He also taught for seven years at St. Thomas More in Brooklyn, Ohio.
Mr. Arroyo is the head JV Softball Coach at Avon High School beginning his eighth year and was Assistant Varsity Coach at Elyria Catholic for five years. Beginning his sixteenth year in education, he is excited to come to St. Mary, stepping away from the computer to promote fitness, health, and maintaining an active life.
